ProtoCat exists so CompCheck, and the products that follow it, can share a company without sharing a website. This site introduces the company. CompCheck continues to run at compcheck.protocat.net.

How the names fit

• ProtoCat is the parent brand and the site at protocat.net.
• CompCheck is the first product, on its own subdomain.
• www.protocat.net is only an address for the parent site. It redirects to protocat.net once that hostname is connected.
• Future products will get their own names and pages. None are listed until they exist.

What this site will not do

It does not replace the CompCheck application, collect marketplace credentials, or change how mail for protocat.net is routed. Company email routing stays on the records already published for the domain.
